Sun comes up, the sun goes down
on a little quiet Southern Baptist mountain town.
And all the signs are all around
that God chose smack dab here in America.
Fifteen thousand miles away,
there lives a bunch of people that the preacher say,
they don't pray the way we pray
so their souls are gonna have to burn in hell forever.
Oh whoa, why oh why,
if a sinner says he's sorry goes to paradise,
but a good man's soul will surely fry
from a land that never ever heard the name of Jesus Christ?
Words move slow, and words move fast,
but the words with the biggest army surely last.
Sometimes words don't make it past,
an ocean deep, or a jungle vast,
So it takes a man to do God's plan,
and put a bible in every hand.
And try to change them if he can,
cause if he don't then their souls will burn in hell forever.
Oh whoa, why oh why,
if a sinner says he's sorry goes to paradise,
but a good man's soul will surely fry
from a land that never ever heard the name of Jesus Christ?
