Title track 00:59
Yeah you know that love is the law when we're all hanging out on spider island. Yeah and you know that everybody gets along when we're all hanging out on spider island. Yeah we gotta get back we gotta get back and there's no coming back when you go to spider island. Leave all your sorrows in the past cause we laugh and we sing and we like to dance on the sands of spider island. island, spider island, spider island island island island spider island

Casualty 04:47
A year ago mayflies were piling on the floor a girl I'd known who seldom spoke before, well she borrowed my life for the day. And so it goes, those days they turned into some nights, I'd never known something to feel so right and pure, as lovers often say. I offered her to take it all and she just laughed, my heart and hers turned into white and black and I lost my mind in shades of gray. Oh the casualties, of a casual romance, sweet melodies, sing them all again to live the past. A year went by and oftentimes the days moved slow, it took some rain before I learned to grow in the blistering sunlight. And oh, how I tried, and found my way through open doors, and in my desperation shut them closed, and I had stolen many nights. But that pain inside, I'd cover up and I would say, "I'll never love you, let's just go our ways, I never meant to make you cry." A year from now, I wonder where my head will lay, Last month I met a girl I asked to stay, it wasn't love, but it could come. "Now just be patient son, true love it comes to those who wait," I don't know what it meant, but still I'd say it to my tired reflection. But before the sun, she left and I woke up alone, confused was I until I found her note, that started with only, "So long, I know how you are, you'll never love me this I know, you never say it, but your eyes do so. And I won't let you drag me down."

Just go send it, go on and send it, yeah you just go send it and go on back to bed. And don't regret it, don't you regret it, don't you regret what you say and didn't send. Then write you a love song, a little love song, a little love song you'll be singing in the back of your shower, and be lost for hours. Cause if you don't tell her, if you don't tell her, if if you don't tell her you might as well be dead. Well it's 4 in the morning and you wanna be mad at someone and that's pretty unspecific but it shouldn't be her, she doesn't know no better if you don't send it, just go on and send it, yeah you just go send it and go on back to bed.

I would stick these needles in my eyes I would take a piss into a cup I would drink my piss and all the blood, never see, never feel. Say, say anything, you can take, take anything. I would stick these needles in my ears I would take a piss into a cup I would drink my piss and all the blood, Never hear, never feel. Take, take anything, you can break, break anything. I would stick these needles in my hands, I would take a piss into a cup, I would drink my piss and all the blood, never feel, never feel, never feel, never feel.

Baseball 02:36
Well I found a baseball that I throw at a mattress in my garage. I scream and I throw out my rotator cuff til the day you come home. Til the day you come home. There's anthills all over my front yard, there's no telling how deep the tunnels go, well I'll pour on hot water and I stir up the dirt and I watch them pile the bodies, said I might be crazy you know. There's one good thing about being an artist You can see good things when there's none, and there's one bad thing about being an artist when you see good things and there's none. I said, are you ever coming home? I make little things out of papers, and I cover things up with them too. Well I'm feeling alright with feeling alone, and I like little shit that I do. But it'd just be that much more fun with you. Yeah but I might be crazy too, yeah I might be crazy.

Fiddle Stew 02:17
Who wants to eat some fiddle stew? Fiddle stew is good for you. A little fiddle bone and a little fiddle fat. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. A little fiddle carrots and taters too. Who wants to eat some fiddle stew?

Flimsy 01:56
The time is over for we two there's never space for me and you you're not the one who got away and I'm not the one I'm just another one, yeah. All our wounds have flimsy stitches and what have we learned in the end? You ain't brought here by my wishes and I'm an asshole like all men. And you're the same as all those bitches you're the same as all those bitches I'm an asshole like all men and you're the same as all those bitches.
